American Professional Telecaster is the basic Telecaster model of the new-found American Professional line. It rocks all of the major improvements and changes associated with the new flagship line of the American side of the Fender catalog. These include, among others, completely new hybrid alloy pickups, modified neck contour, treble bleed circuit, new narrow tall frets, posiflex neck reinforcement, etc. On top of that, the new Pro Tele sports its own unique set of improvements. A huge color palette is another cool feature of this high-end rocker. It includes nine options, ranging from the standard Black & 3-Color Sunburst to revamped Butterscotch Blonde to new Sonic Gray and Antique Olive. The new Professional Telecaster starts with a regular alder or ash-made single-cut body (material depends on the color option), with a 3-ply pickguard on top, as well as the standard hardware/electronics layout. "Deep C" maple neck and 22-fret fingerboard (rosewood/maple) complete the chassis. The bridge is a modern take on the iconic "Ashtray", featuring compensated brass barrel saddles and modified edges. Pickups in front of it are newly designed V-Mod singles. Though they look like any other classic Tele set (open in the bridge, lipstick in the neck), they`ve got a proprietary mixture of AlNiCo alloys under the hood. Additionally, the volume pot is loaded with the "treble bleed" control, which prevents the tone from thinning out as the volume decreases. Fender`s own sealed, fluted tuners wrap things up, providing superior tuning stability.
