Dave Murray, the legend of Iron Maiden and heavy metal scene is a long-time fan of Stratocaster. He is one of the few metal guitarists known for their fidelity to the Strat. His own signature Stratocaster is a solid, double cut guitar made of alder body and maple neck. Body is flat and covered with a white plastic pickguard. Neck is equipped with bolt-on joint and C contour in the back. Bridge section on this Strat features a synchronized tremolo bridge with string-through construction and chrome plating. Pickups come in H/S/H configuration. Humbuckers are DiMarzio, while the single is Fender. Master volume, two tones and five-position blade switch complete the controls unit. Fingerboard on the neck has 21 medium jumbo frets with black dot inlays.
