J Mascis, the legend of alternative rock is one of the distinguished guitarists with Fender signature model. His trusty Jazzmaster comes with a standard body made of basswood. It`s combined with a C-contoured maple neck with bolt-on joint. Body is solid, flat and finished in high gloss. Purple Sparkle is the only color option available for this model. Bridge section is characteristic for Jazzmasters, it`s equipped with adjust-o-matic bridge and floating tremolo tailpiece. In front of it, Fender installs a pair of P-90-sized single coil pickups with master volume, master tone, three-way toggle switch and rhythm and lead circuit slide switches. Bolted neck is topped with a regular 21-fret rosewood fingerboard. White dot position inlays and 1.65" wide synthetic bone nut complete the fingerboard.
