Modern Player series is made by Fender for all those young guns eager to start blazing their own trail across the music sky. This series is turned especially towards players who want a genuine Fender, but can`t afford USA Standard or something like that. Modern Player Stratocaster HSS has everything a modern player might need when starting the search for his or her own tone and style. Modern Player pickups are laid out in HSS pattern and the bridge bucker can be split through a push/pull switch installed within the tone 2 knob. Beside this, Modern Player Stratocaster HSS has master volume and one more tone knob. Pickup switch is a standard five-position blade. Besides the versatile electronics, this Strat rocks a full set of 22 jumbo-sized frets, for modern players like their frets big, with a lot of "meat" to grind. Standard white dot inlays, 9.50" radius and 1.65" wide synthetic bone nut comprise the rosewood fingerboard. This fingerboard is installed upon the C shaped maple neck which is, as on all Strats, bolted to the body. As if this wasn`t enough, Fender throws in the legendary Vintage Style Synchronized Tremolo bridge with string-through-body construction and six adjustable saddles. Body of this hot rocker is made of alder, which makes pretty awesome combo with the maple neck. A true Strat base. Vintage styled in-line tuners, glossy finish, regular 25-1/2" scale and chrome/nickel hardware complete the specs list. Silverburst and Olympic White are color options available for this model.
