The Player Series Electric Guitars by Fender
Back in the `80s, Stratocaster was the first guitar to be modded for the purposes of shredding and extreme metal. Humbucking pickups and locking tremolo bridges were the most common additions to the versatile and player-friendly Stratocasters. Some thirty years later, Superstrat guitars have become the most popular type of electric guitar, leaving the rest of the industry far behind. The new Player Stratocaster Floyd Rose HSS is a throwback to the original metal guitar, the modded Stratocaster. Main features include a solid and double-cut alder body (classic Stratocaster pickguard on top), bolt-on maple neck (four-bolt joint, modern C profile), 22-fret fingerboard (maple/pau ferro), Player Series pickups in H/S/S arrangement, Floyd Rose double-locking bridge, and a set of die-cast tuners.
