Showmaster FMT is Fender`s own modern rendition of a double cut concept. It is based upon the Stratocaster shape, but it features a little bit different styling. Body of this model is solid, double cut and made of alder. On it`s top flamed maple cover is featured. Top is slightly carved and it`s bound. Bridge section is equipped with a modern tremolo bridge with string-through construction and chrome plating. Pickups on this model come in H/H configuration and are made by Seymour Duncan. Master volume, master tone and blade switch comprise the controls unit of the Showmaster. Maple neck is set and equipped with a standard C contour. On it`s top Fender installs a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Combined nickel/chrome hardware is featured on this model.
