Starcaster series is getting bigger and richer this autumn. It is being infused with new Starcaster and Coronado guitars and basses. One of the models introduced is the Starcaster Coronado Guitar. This is a revival of a very popular mid 1960s Coronado guitar. The original was a fully hollow guitar, while the new one comes with a semi hollow body made of laminated maple and alder. Back, sides adn carved top are made of laminated maple, while the center is made of alder. Body of this marvelous six-stringer features the beautiful vintage styling with bound "f" holes, elevated pickguard and vintage hardware. Bridge section is made up of two pieces, the pinned adjust-o-matic bridge in the front and a floating tailpiece in the back. Tailpiece is anchored to the edge of the body. In the front, there are two vintage-styled humbuckers named Fideli`Tron. These give the characteristic 1950s and 1960s tone, but can also be used for some more modern rock stuff. Two volume knobs, two tone knobs and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the controls unit. Bolted maple neck is fit with a C contour in the back and a standard 21-fret fingerboard on the top. Rosewood fingerboard installed on the top has medium jumbo frets, block inlays, binding around the edges, 9.50" radius and 1.65" wide synthetic bone nut. Standard sealed Fender tuners complete the specs list.
