Ravelle models in the Fernandes catalog have the role of the premier modern single-cut guitars, while the Monterey is still in the lineup for the players who like a bit more traditional approach to the single-cut guitar design. Both the Monterey and Ravelle are based on the legendary Les Paul, with the Ravelle having offset body and modern cutaway. Body of this stripped down six-string rocker is made of mahogany back with spalted maple top. Top is carved and finished in gloss. Classic bridge combo contains the tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail bar, both with black paint. In the pickups compartment, Fernandes goes for the usual EMG combo, the 81 in the bridge and 60 in the neck. Set in mahogany neck is equipped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
