Retrorocket is Fernandes` take on the classic Strat design in combination with some modern appointments and features. For 2012, as part of the catalog rebuilding, Retrorocket, among other distinguished series, received an Elite JP model as a new flagship of the line. No materials or features are spared for these models. Retrorocket Elite JP starts off with a solid, double cutaway body made of light ash. The body, styled after the Stratocaster, features a flat and unbound top with a large white pickguard. Colors available for this elite model are black, cream white and three-tone sunburst, all finished in gloss. The bridge section is occupied with a chrome-plated Gotoh Wilkinson tremolo bridge. Pickups combo is laid out in a classic Stratocaster pattern, but with Seymour Duncan rail humbuckers in the bridge and middle, and a rail Sustainer in the neck position. They are controlled through master volume, master tone, five position blade switch, Sustainer on/off switch, Sustainer mode switch and Sustainer intensity switch. The neck is made of maple and equipped with a bolt-on joint. The fingerboard is made of maple and features 22 jumbo sized frets with black dot position inlays. 25-1/2" scale, 14" fingerboard radius and chrome hardware complete the specs.
