Vortex concept from Fernandes Guitars brings forth the modern spin on the classic flying V story. Tail fins have been modernized and the body contours are now a bit more streamlined. Despite it`s modern looks, this one still retains traditional values, such as massive tone, solid and quality build, super sleek neck and amazing playability. Vortex Elite, in the time of it`s introduction, was the top model of the series and it was made to represent the best Fernandes had to offer to ever more demanding metalheads. Entire body is made of mahogany and it has a set in mahogany neck. Floyd Rose bridge is fronted by EMG 81 in the bridge and Sustainer in the neck position. 22-fret fingerboard on this model is made of ebony.
