AK-1974 is the Top Cat among Framus guitars and it features a unique set of exclusive appointments. The body is constructed as fully hollow and made entirely of flamed maple. The neck on this model is running through the body, thus making it a semi-hollow. Body top is carved and equipped with a single "f" hole. Bridge section sports a tune-o-matic with stoptail bar and gold plating. A pair of SH-1 Seymour Duncan humbuckers is controlled through master volume, master tone and three-way toggle switch. The neck is made of flamed maple and topped with tigerstripe ebony fingerboard. 24 jumbo-sized frets, mother-of-pearl dot inlays and 1.6535" black TUSQ nut wrap the fingerboard. Sperzel tuners with gold plating and 25-1/2" scale complete the list of specs.
