As one of Britain`s premier guitar manufacturers, Fret King has a huge reputation to maintain. with ever hungry competition, it`s not an easy task. But, Fret King makes it look unbelievably easy. This year at the NAMM Show, Fret King introduced a brand new line of Black Label guitars, which are oriented towards the players with straining budgets. Black Label Country Squire Semitone is a semi-acoustic, single cutaway model with alder body and maple neck. The top is bound in tortoise shell binding with tortoise pickguard and "f" hole on the bass side of the bridge. This squire comes in black gloss finish The bridge is made by Wilkinson, and it features three-saddle construction. In the pickup department, H/H configuration takes care of the tone and sustain. Both humbuckers are made by Wilkinson. Controls are made up of master volume, master tone and Vari-Coil knobs with a three-position blade switch. The neck is made of Canadian hard rock maple and it features a rosewood fingerboard on it`s top. 22 medium jumbo frets, dot position inlays, graphite nut and 10" radius are fingerboard specs. 25-1/2" scale and Wilkinson tuners conclude the story of Country Squire Semitone. The MSRP is set at around $1,000.
