Blue Label offers mostly vintage styled instruments, but with some notable exceptions. One of those exceptions is Elan Super 50 SSP, which is Fret King`s own spin on the Soloist story. This Elan comes with a solid mahogany body with double cutaway and carved top. There are no top woods, bindings, or pickguards. The neck is also made of mahogany and is equipped with set-in joint and rosewood fingerboard. 22 frets with dot inlays are featured upon the fingerboard. In the pickup area Wilkinson supplies bridge P-90 with regular single coils in the neck and middle positions. The bridge on this model is a Wilkinson wraparound stoptail bar with chrome plating. 25" scale length and Gotoh tuners complete the list of specs. The MSRP for Elan Super 50 SSP is set around $1,250.
