Back in 1957, Les Paul Goldtop received one of two most important changes in its history, it switched from P-90 pickups to the first generation of PAF humbucking pickups designed by Seth Lover. It would be another year until the first "Standard" with Cherry Sunburst. 60th Anniversary `57 Goldtop Les Paul starts at $4,599 and is a Limited Run guitar made for 1957 Goldtop aficionados. It is available in six different variants of Goldtop finish, three with natural back, one with dark back, and two with gold-colored back & sides. The default Antique Gold is offered in gloss, VOS, and aged finishes. The key features include a solid mahogany body, 2-piece maple top, solid mahogany neck (w/long tenon), 22-fret solid rosewood fingerboard, ABR-1 bridge, Custombucker pickups, and single-band Kluson tuners.
