Back in the day, semi-hollow bodied guitars were made to bridge the gap between the solid bodied guitars and hollow-bodied ones. Semi-acoustics solved the issues with feedback, but still gave the rich and resonant tone. CS-336 is is a vintage styled semi-hollow guitar with double cut body and set-in neck. Body is made of mahogany back, sides and top. It features creme binding, a pair of "f" holes and a raised pickguard with matching binding. Bridge section features a tune-o-matic bridge with stoptail bar in the back. Both components of the bridge section are plated in nickel. Classic '57 humbuckers are installed in the front. Mahogany neck on this model is set-in and sports a standard contour in the back. 22-fret rosewood fingerboard is on the top.
