CS-336/356 models have been a part of the ES range since 2001, representing Custom Shop`s first take at the ES series. The new CS-356 is one of a handful currently available Gibson Custom Electric Spanish models, being the only CS. CS-356 costs $4,399 and offers a thinline body made of chambered solid tonewoods (arched top/back), set-in neck (w/long tenon), vintage electronics, and vintage styling. Ebony, Faded Cherry Figured Top, and Vintage Sunburst Figured Top are the names of available color options. The key features include chambered mahogany body base, solid maple top, mahogany neck (medium C profile), 22-fret richlite fingerboard (medium jumbo frets, 1.687" corian nut, 12" radius), ABR-1 bridge, Classic `57 humbucking pickups, and Kluson Deluxe tuners.
