Archtop Electric Guitars by Gibson Custom
Archtop Electric Guitars by Gibson Custom
One of the hardest working rockers around and an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, Dave Grohl inspired Gibson Custom luthiers to make this exceptional archtop guitar. It is a double-cut guitar with semi-acoustic body, made of maple. Pelham Blue is the only color in the palette and it comes finished in high gloss. Creme binding, diamond-shaped holes on the top and chrome hardware decorate this model. Bridge section is a simple one, as it is made up of a tune-o-matic bridge in the front and stoptail bar in the back. Active Gibson humbuckers are installed in the front. Controls unit includes separate volume and tone knobs with a three-way toggle pickup switch. Mahogany is used for the set-in neck with '50s back contour. 22-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
