Gibson was never big on tremolo bridges, their focus was on tune-o-matic/stoptail combo with occasional excursions into Bigsby fields, but modern times require modern solutions, so Gibson Custom offers Les Paul Axcess Standard with a tremolo bridge, locking tremolo bridge. It is a Floyd Rose original. Pickups on this model are the same as on the regular Standard, Burstbucker 1 is in the neck and Burstbucker 2 is in the bridge position. Body of this model is made of strategically chambered mahogany back and flamed maple top. Top is carved and bound in creme binding. Ice Tea and Gun Metal Gray are color schemes assigned to this model. Neck is made of mahogany and it features rounded contour in the back. 22-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
