It is a recreation of Slash` own 1958 Les Paul Standard guitar, for which it was determined that it was one of two example specimens made for 1958 Music Industry Trade Show and the first-ever Sunburst with a center-joined 2-piece flame maple top. Slash 1958 Les Paul First Standard #8 3096 Replica comes in three variants, Aged Signed ($11,999), Aged ($7,999), Vintage Gloss ($5,999). The main construction features include a lightweight solid mahogany body, 2-piece maple top, solid mahogany neck (long tenon joint, Replica `58 C-shape), 22-fret solid rosewood fingerboard, ABR-1 bridge, Custombucker Replica pickups, and Kluson tuners (five single-band tuners, one double-band).
