Les Paul BFG is a special model within the Les Paul line. It is based on the iconic Les Paul Studio, but it adds a couple of twists to the story. First one is the snake skin surface of the body. Maple top on this model is carved to resemble the snake skin pattern. Back of the body is made of mahogany. There are three color options available for this model: Transparent Black, Transparent Cherry and Transparent Gold. They are all finished in gloss. Other distinct feature is the combination of the Burstbucker 3 in the bridge and the classic P-90 single coil in the neck position. Standard controls unit follows them. Neck on this one is made of mahogany and it features the '50s rounded contour in the back. 22-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
