Les Paul Signature T is a model made for Les Paul enthusiasts who are looking for the perfect balance of vintage and modern features. It is one of many models introduced for 2013 and upcoming celebration in honor of Les Paul. This one comes with a classic combination of tone woods for the single cut and weight-relieved body. Mahogany back is chambered in strategic places to allow for better tone resonance and lighter body. Top cap is made of flamed maple and it`s bound in sweet creme binding. A total of five color options are available for this model: Vintage Sunburst, Wine Red, Alpine White Burst, Gold Top and Translucent Ebony. All come with nitrocellulose gloss finish and Gold Top is quipped with vintage-styled dark brown color on the sides and back. Bridge section is made up of tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail bar. They`re both made by Tonepros and plated in chrome. Combined with super strong tuners on the headstock, this bridge combo gives ultimate stability and intonation, the best among the top-load non-locking bridges. A pair of '57 Classics with open coils is installed in front of the bridge. Open coil design gives the hot rod vibe and makes this model stand out among other Les Pauls. These buckers are active and can be split through push/pull switches. Controls unit for this model is a standard one, it features separate volume and tone knobs with a three-way toggle as the pickup switch. Neck is made of mahogany, it`s glued to the body and equipped with a '60s slim taper contour. On it`s top a dark granadillo fingerboard is installed. It comes with 22 medium-jumbo sized frets, figured acrylic trapezoid inlays, 12" radius and 1-11/16" wide string nut. Headstock can optionally be equipped with a set of robotic tuners. Basic MSRP for all color options of this model is set at $3,199.

This is my 3rd les paul of my forty years,27 of them playing single cuts mostly epis n gibsons...My first is a 75 custom that was a gift when i 15...lucky me..second was a 58 vos that took me two years to save up for. That said this t series plays just as well as my vos ...yes they sound a bit different but they are priced a bit less, about 1100 or so .my t as i will call it has a very flexable sound palet due to true coil spliting and a set of 57 classics ...and locking tuners are a plus as well ..all said great buy plays great sounds awsome, look killer..good start for 2013...!
