LG HMB is a humbucker-equipped variant of the highly acclaimed LG P90 model from the Performance series, which is also the home for this model. These two share the construction, tonewood and hardware specs, with the only difference being found in pickups department. Instead of P-90s, this one has a set of two Godin humbuckers with open-coil design. Five position blade switch splits the bridge humbucker in second position and the neck humbucker in the fourth. First, third and fifth are reserved for the full humbucking tone. Bridge section behind the pickups contains the classic tune-o-matic bridge with string-through construction. This one comes with mahogany body. Some color schemes feature maple top. Neck is made of mahogany and it is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.

2 humbuckers, splitable to single coil via 5 way switch 10 Great design, great wood, electronics, tonal vesatility A better value can not be had in an electric guitar especially when you can pick one up used. Pay close attention and you can find some where the mahogany is especially choice. Tone and sustain can be amazing, Find One! Many original owners miss what these great istruments can be due to overly light strings set ups, thinking that a slinky low Les Paul like action is what they're after. I have 3 LGs all of them were set up too light and were neither stable nor intonated correctly. Do the set up over with 11 gauge and you will hear some real talking
