Godin`s X series takes versatility to a completely different level, combining three different types of amplification into a single instrument. The X models rock chambered bodies with contours somewhere in between Multiac and Summit. They come in LGX and LGXT variants, with LGX models being far more numerous. LGXT Black Pearl is one of only five currently available LGXT options. Main features include a single-cut, chambered body (silver leaf maple base, carved plain maple top, creme binding), bolt-on neck joint, 25-1/2" scale, hybrid electronics (Seymour Duncan magnetic pickups, under-saddle transducer pickup w/onboard preamp, 13-pin synth connector), elegant styling. Black Pearl is the name of the only available color scheme. Other notable features include a mahogany neck, 22-fret richlite fingerboard, string-thru tremolo bridge, and die-cast tuners.
