Godin Montreal Premiere Tripleplay
Archtop Thinline Electric Guitars by Godin
Archtop Thinline Electric Guitars by Godin
Montreal series deals with semi-hollow guitars, designed in the vein of the classic Gibson archtops. These are simple, straightforward six-strings, made for jazz, blues and rock music.
Montreal Premiere Tripleplay is a seemingly standard Montreal offer, but upon a closer inspection it becomes clear that this is no ordinary guitar. Top, back and the sides of this thinline archtop are all made of Canadian wild cherry, but the center block is made of spruce. This gives a bright, chiming tone (a lot like maple). Mahogany neck is set in and features a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.
Alongside the standard Godin humbuckers, Fishman`s Tripleplay hexaphonic bridge & pickup system is featured in the electronics section. Tripleplay stands for humbuckers, piezo and mix. Two-piece bridge and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
