G5435TG-BLK-LTD16 Limited Edition Electromatic Pro Jet w/Bigsby and Gold Hardware is one of three Limited Edition models Gretsch had prepared for December 2016. It is, by far, the most affordable member of the vintage-oriented trio, coming in at $849 (official MSRP set by Gretsch). This black-clad Jet rocks some of the most iconic visual, construction and sonic features associated with Gretsch Guitars. Some of them include a chambered body, 24-3/5" scale, Bigsby bridge, vintage Gretsch scratchplate and Filter`Tron pickups. Black, with gloss finish and gold-plated hardware, is the only available color option. G5435TG-BLK-LTD16 Limited Edition Electromatic Pro Jet w/Bigsby and Gold Hardware kicks off with a chambered, single-cut Penguin body, made of basswood base and plain maple top. It`s paired with a set-in maple neck with a 22-fret fingerboard on top. The fingerboard sports the classic humpblock inlays, medium jumbo frets, 1-11/16" wide synthetic bone nut and 12" radius. The electronics section is outfitted with a pair or Filter`Tron humbuckers and a classic Gretsch controls setup. Pinned Adjust-o-Matic bridge with Bigsby vibrato tail and Grover tuners (all gold-plated) complete this suave rocker.
