G6120W-1957 Chet Atkins Hollow Body is one of few tribute models made in Mr Atkins` honor without the classic set of two Filtertron pickups. Instead of them, Gretsch installs another perennial combo, the DynaSonic single-coil pickup in the bridge and Lindy Fralin Dog Ear single-coil in the neck position. This Dog Ear single-coil is actually a P-90 pickup. Standard controls unit is, however, kept and it`s followed by a three-way toggle pickup switch. Classic three-piece bridge section features the adjust-o-matic bridge in the front, Bigsby Vibrato bar in the middle and trapezoid tailpiece in the back. Single-cut body is fully hollow, arched on the top and made completely of laminated maple. Set in maple neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
