G6122II Chet Atkins Country Gentleman is a model from the highly acclaimed Professional series from Gretsch Guitars. This series deals exclusively with signature and tribute guitars and it is the top series in the regular part of the catalog. Most of it`s models are hollow-bodied, with a few solid-bodied exceptions. G6122II comes with a fully hollow body made entirely of laminated maple. It is available only in Walnut Stain with high gloss finish and gold-plated hardware. Chet Atkins models feature a three-piece bridge section. Adjust-o-matic bridge is backed with a Bigsby vibrato bar and trapezoid tailpiece. Also, Filtertron humbuckers in the front are standard feature. Neck on this model is set in and made of maple. It is topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
