Jets started out in 1953 as Gretsch`s take on the solid guitar idea. Though technically, Jets weren`t exactly solid (they featured chambered bodies), they remained as Gretsch`s premier solid-body guitars throughout the years. G6128T-57 Vintage Select ’57 Duo Jet™ with Bigsby®, TV Jones®, Cadillac Green is a tribute to one of the most important incarnations of the legendary Duo Jet, the `57 model. It costs $3,599.00 and it brings all the posh and charms of the original `57. Core features include a solid mahogany body (chambered), laminated maple top (aged white binding, gold-plated pickguard), set-in maple neck (U profile) and 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (24-3/5" scale, 1-11/16" nut, 12" radius, humpblock inlays). Main hardware and electronics features include Synchro-Sonic bridge, Grover Sta-Tite tuners and TV Jones T-Armond pickups.
