Vintage Korina
Newport Korina model belongs to the highly acclaimed Newport series of semi-hollow electric guitars made by the distinguished Hamer Guitars. This series is based on the classic and revered Gibson ES design, but it exhibits distinct Hamer styling features, materials and hardware appointments. Standard tonewood combo for the semi-hollow Newport bodies is mahogany in the back and carved spruce soundboard on the top. Newport Korina ports limba back and limba soundboard on the top. Instead of mahogany, neck is made of limba on this model. Tune-o-matic bridge is installed on the top and it is paired with a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece. Seymour Duncan Phat Cat single-coils are installed on the front. Limba neck has vintage round contour in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
