Gold Top
Studio P-90 comes from the exclusive Studio series of electric guitars made by Hamer. This series design is based on the double-cut Les Paul variant from Gibson. Design-wise, these two concepts have much in common, but when one scratches surface and gets a bit deeper, Studio and double-cut LP are worlds apart. Studio series standard combination of tonewoods are Honduran mahogany for the solid back and maple for the top. Top is carved in authentic Hamer fashion and is bound in elegant ivoroid binding. Standard two-piece bridge unit is matched with Schaller tuners on the opposite end of the 24-3/4" scale. Seymour Duncan`s P-90s make the biggest difference, as they give this model the characteristic Hamer tone. Mahogany neck is set in and it features the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on it`s top.
