Kalamazoo-based Heritage guitars have been making some of the finest electric guitars in the world for over 30 years. All of the models are based on classic Gibson concepts, such as (fully hollow and semi hollow) ES and (single-cut and double-cut) LP. H-110 belongs to the Solid Body series and brings a unique LP Doublecut experience. It kicks off with a compact-sized body, made of solid mahogany back and solid curly maple top (two-piece top with creme binding). The neck is also made of mahogany and it is glued to the body. 22-fret rosewood fingerboard sits on its top. Two Seymour Duncan humbuckers make sure all bases from jazz and blues to full-on hard rock are covered. Other major features include a two-piece bridge and closed-gear tuning machines.

The H-110 is a premiere guitar - it is actually not a solid-body - but a solid-body with strategically placed hollow portions, making the sound warm and woody. (I've seen some youtube videos with the distortion cranked, and the guitar being played in screaming mode - it doesn't do the instrument justice.) Imagine that modern Muscle Shoals sound - that's what the 110 was built to do. The action on mine felt worn in when I got it - it's like you've been playing it for a while - I got used to it immediately. I own and love my Les Paul standard, but if I had to choose, it's be the 110.
