Semi-Hollow Body Electric Guitars by Heritage Guitars
H-555 is one of five vintage-styled semi-hollow guitars made by Kalamazoo-based Heritage Guitars. Like all of the Heritage axes, H-555 is based on classic Gibson`s concepts (LP and ES models, mostly). ES-335 served as the base for 555 and similar models.
H-555 kicks off with a semi-hollow and double-cut body made of laminated curly maple (back, sides) and solid curly maple (top). Multiple white binding, bound "f" holes, gold-plated hardware and wooden pickguard decorate the top. The neck is made of mahogany and it features a 22-fret ebony fingerboard on top. Series-standard electronics unit (two Seymour Duncan humbuckers, separate volume & tone controls, 3-way switch) is found on 555 model, as well. Two-piece hardtail bridge and closed-gear tuners complete the specs list.
