Hofner New President

New President is a fully hollow model from Hofner`s electric guitar segment of the catalog. It forms the Jazz Guitars series together with the Chancellor model. New President is a single-cut guitar with a full-sized body and it is made of maple back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Top is bound in several layers of binding and it`s fit with a black plastic pickguard. Also, there are two "f" holes, one on each side of the bridge. New President comes with a fixed bridge made of rosewood. In it`s back, there is a trapezoid tailpiece. President model is equipped with only one minibucker pickup placed in the neck position. Set in maple neck is fit with series standard contour in the back and 22-fret ebony fingerboard on top.
