Artcore Expressionist Electric Guitars by Ibanez
Artcore Expressionist is one of recently established series of hollow-bodied guitars in Ibanez catalog. It deals with vintage-styled jazz boxes which compete in the intermediate class of the market. For 2014, Ibanez has introduced several models and the new, refreshed version of the AFJ91 is one of them. It comes with a single-cut body made of flamed maple and spruce. Flamed maple is found on the sides and in the back, while the spruce is on the top. There`s only one color option available for this model, the Jet Burst Blue Flat. It is finished in matte and is fit with a standard set of gold-plated hardware. ART-W bridge and a trapezoid tailpiece comprise the bridge unit, while the lone Super 58 Custom humbucker is found in the neck position. Master volume and master tone knobs complete the controls unit. Neck on this model is made of three pieces of mahogany and maple and is set in. On it`s top, Ibanez installs a regular 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
