AGV10A is a member of the newly founded Artcore Vintage series. Artcore Vintage is, along with the Artstar Vintage (also a new series), Ibanez`s shot at vintage, relic`d and worn guitars. Models in these two series are an attempt to prove that vintage guitars don`t have to cost a small fortune, like it is case with some US brands. AGV10A is one of four Artcore Vintage models. It features completely hollow construction, set in neck, passive Ibanez electronics and high-end hardware. Tobacco Burst Low Gloss color scheme, vintage plastic pickguard, classic Ibanez 3+3 headstock and brushed pickup covers give this jazz box the elegance and poise of a heavily used and played instrument. AGV10A kicks off with a maple body with a set-in neck. Back, sides and the carved top are all made of maple. Glued in neck has the standard Artcore profile in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Block inlays, 1.69" nut and 12" radius complete the fingerboard. Ibanez Classic Elite humbuckers make sure this marvelous hollow-body sounds as good as any exclusive vintage jazz box out there. Dual volume and tone controls and three-way switch form a classic and simple controls unit. ART-W bridge with trapezoid inlays and deluxe tuners complete both the hardware unit and the specs list.
