AR620 is one of the new models introduced at the 2014 NAMM show. It debuts along with several other AR and AR Prestige models. It is a solid and double-cut guitar with body made of mahogany base and mahogany top. Traditionally, models of the AR series have carved tops and set in necks, which is the case with AR620. Top is bound in abalone binding and, together with gold-plated hardware, represents the perfect balance to the black-clad body, ebony fingerboard and black painted headstock. Bridge section is the standard one, it comes with a Gibraltar bridge in the front and the sustain block (stoptail bar) in the back. Pickups installed on this model are Super 80 Flying Fingers passive humbuckers. They come with split volume and tone knobs and two mini switches for improved versatility. Neck on this elegant six-stringer is made of three pieces of maple and is fit with the standard AR contour in the back. On it`s top, there`s the series standard 22-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
