With the introduction of new UC models, ARZ range is getting more metal than ever. ARZ6UC is the latest addition into both the ARZ series and Uppercut class. It is a solid-bodied killing machine with a single-cut mahogany base and carved maple top. Strong and tight low end is guaranteed by the abundant mahogany, while the maple provides clarity and singing mids. ARZ6UC is available in only one color, the sleek Black Flat (flat stands for satin finish in Ibanez catalog). Bridge section on the top is made up of Tight Tune bridge and tailpiece (a variant based on the classic tune-o-matic/stoptail bar set). In it`s front, Ibanez installs a pair of passive Bare Knuckle Nailbomb humbuckers with Cosmo Black plate covers and a simple controls unit. Two volume knobs, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch are included into the controls unit. Three-piece neck is made of two pieces of mahogany and a single piece of maple. It is a set in neck with a contoured heel. On it`s top, there is a 24-fret fingerboard made of ebony. Jumbo-sized frets with side dot inlays, 1.69" wide nut, 12" radius and multi-ply binding complete the fingerboard. Elegant headstock is fit with a set of Gotoh locking tuning machines.
