The updated and refreshed AX series comes in with two new models in the budget-friendly class - AX230T and AX120 (which is a revamp of the retired AX120). The new version of 120 sports an updated color palette, introducing the Metallic Forest (w/metallic finish, white neck binding, chrome hardware, black plastics, tortoise pickguard). The rest of the palette includes Baltic Blue Metallic, Metallic Light Blue, and classic Candy Apple. Main features include a solid poplar body (beveled top, classic AX double-cut contour, tortoise pickguard), a maple neck (AX contour, bolt-on joint), a 22-fret fingerboard made of treated New Zealand pine (2.12" string nut, 24.7" scale, 12" radius, block inlays), a two-piece hardtail bridge unit, a set of Classic Elite humbuckers, and die-cast tuners.
