FR Prestige Electric Guitars by Ibanez
FR Prestige Electric Guitars by Ibanez
FR series is a fairly recent addition to the Ibanez catalog. It deals with the single-cut guitars made with modernized Telecaster shape. These single-cuts come divided into two sub-series. Lower one is the standard FR, while the FR Prestige assumes the role of the top tier. For 2014, FR lines have been updated with one model, each. FR6UC is reinforcing the FR Prestige series. It comes with a solid and single-cut body with 25-1/2" scale, bolt-on neck joint and flat top. It is made of basswood in it`s entirety and is paired with a combined maple/walnut neck. On the top, a Tight End bridge is installed. It is a hardtail bridge with string-through construction and six adjustable saddles. In the front, there are two Bare Knuckle Aftermath humbuckers. They`re accompanied by one volume and one tone knob, as well as a three-position blade switch. Maple/walnut neck is fit with a standard wizard contour in the back and is topped with a regular 24-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
