GB15 is one of several models made for legendary George Benson. He is one of three signature artists in hollow body section of the catalog. Other two are John Scofield and Pat Metheny. GB15 is a fully hollow guitar with single-cut body and it`s made of maple back and sides with spruce sound board. Top is arched, bound in white and carved with a pair of "f" holes. This model comes only in Transparent Red with high gloss finish over the body. Fixed bridge is paired with a trapezoid tailpiece and both are paindet in combination of black and chrome. Minibucker in neck position is controlled with master volume and master tone knobs. Three-piece mahogany neck is set in and topped with a standard 22-fret ebony fingerboard.

This is not a "fairly good guitar" as you say, but rather a very good example of a small body, jazz guitar in tone, comfort, action, looks, and workmanship. "Though it could be better, action of Ibanez GB15 is not bad at all." No, the action on this guitar is superb. You simply will not find any archtop with better action. It is absolutely effortless, even with heavy gauge strings. "It may go out of tune when mistreated"??? Well then maybe you should not let your pet chimpanzee handle it then, eh? "Guitar does feel a bit cheaper..." Cheaper than what? "Some might say that Ibanez didnt go all the way in providing a reliable and durable instrument, but the GB15 isnt that bad." What? Some might say that your "verbal representation of [your] numerical rating system" is worthless, stupid, and completely useless. This guitar is completely reliable and durable. It is a well made, quality guitar. "...you should be wary and have backups in situations where you feel the GB15 might let you down, such as gigs and studio sessions." Right. The usual nonsense for idiots. I use it for gigs and studio sessions.
