Kiko Loureiro and his band Angra are on the rise and are becoming a force to reckon with on the power metal scene. Angra exists for over 20 years, but they`ve only reached world-wide fame in recent years. As one of Brazil`s premier metal acts, Angra has toured the world with some of the most eminent bands on the scene. Kiko Loureiro is a long-time guitarist in the band and is considered to be one of the most prolific Brazilian axemen. For the 2014 edition of the NAMM show, Kiko has teamed up with Ibanez to produce the initial lineup of Kiko`s Ibanez signature series. KIKO10P is one of two models introduced into this series. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of alder back and flamed maple top. Bolted neck, passive electronics, 24-fret fingerboard and the standard 25-1/2" scale are some of the main traits of this fiery six-stringer. On the top, Ibanez installs the Lo-Pro Edge trem system, as well as a set of three (HSH) DiMarzio Kiko pickups. Master volume and master tone knobs have push/pull switches and are accompanied by a five-position blade switch. 24-fret rosewood fingerboard completes the specs list.
