RC220 is currently the most affordable option within the entire Road Core range. Like its bigger and more expensive brethren, it too sports the distinctive RC double-cut body, a bolt-on neck and a standard 25-1/2" scale.
RC220 comes in two variants - Aged Amber and Transparent Cherry. Both have gloss finish, chrome-plated hardware, and black plastics. Key construction features include a mahogany body (solid construction, bound back & top, vintage pickguard, flat top), maple neck (RC profile, satin finish in the back, four-bolt joint, unpainted headstock w/six in-line tuners), and rosewood fingerboard (22 medium frets, dot inlays, 1.65" string nut, 9.45" radius, 25-1/2" scale).
Main hardware and electronics features include a string-through hardtail bridge, die-cast tuners, and uncovered Core Tone pickups.
