RG2627ZE is a newly introduced seven-stringer from RG Prestige series. RG is one of the most popular and recognizable series of electric guitars in the world and for 2013, it has been updated with a multitude of new models. RG2627ZE comes with a standard, solid and double-cut body made of basswood. It`s clad in black with glossy finish and white binding around the edges. Classic traits of RG design are visible on the body of this model, as it features a flat top, contoured back and very deep cutaway in combination with contoured heel. Bridge section is also a standard one, it contains a super modern Edge system. It is a double locking tremolo bridge, which is matched with a locking nut on the fingerboard. Pickups come from EMG. It`s the 707 pair of active humbuckers. Master volume, master tone and three-position blade switch comprise the controls unit. Five-piece neck is made of maple and walnut and it features super slim Wizard contour in the back. On top, there`s a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
