Back in 1987, some several months after Steve Vai`s JEM777 signature model, Ibanez introduced the Roadstar Guitar (series which will change its name to RG in early 90s). It became an instant classic and it quickly became obvious that Roadstar was there to stay. This year Ibanez celebrates RG`s 30th birthday with a magnificent J. Custom axe named RG30JCLTD. It is one of the most luxurious and elegant RG guitars ever made. Solid and double-cut body is made of AAAAA quilt maple back/top and mahogany middle. 5-piece maple/walnut neck (with KTS TITANIUM reinforcement rods) and 24-fret rosewood fingerboard (with Tree Of Life inlays, locking nut and 16" radius) complete the chassis. RG30JCLTD also features Lo-Pro Edge bridge, DiMarzio`s most popular combination of pickups (Tone Zone/True Velvet/Air Norton) and locking Gotoh tuners.
