RG470HZ is a model from RG Tremolo Series and is positioned around the top of the line. RG Tremolo is a series with special orientation towards the superstrat models with 24 frets and double locking tremolos. RG470HZ starts off with a solid mahogany body. This double cutaway model is available in natural gloss finish and a flat top. There are no bindings and pickguards on this model. The bridge is a locking Edge III painted in cosmo black color. It is paired with a locking nut. The pickup combo on RG470HZ consists of bridge humbucker, middle single coil and neck humbucker pickup. They are manipulated through master volume and master tone knobs. The pickup selection is done through a five position blade switch. The neck on this model, as on every other RG Tremolo model is a three-piece maple neck with Wizard III contour and a bolt-on joint. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and equipped with 24 jumbo frets and sharktooth inlays. This is one of the models which will be featured at the NAMM 2012 Show. The MSRP for RG470HZ is set at $613.
