Ibanez RG guitars are made with simplicity and performance as the top priorities. Every feature on them is directed towards the performance improvement, regardless of a model`s status. Whether it is in the Tremolo, Fixed or Premium and Prestige sub-divisions, all features are carefully selected. RG5EX1 is a model from the introductory RG Tremolo series and it comes with a solid, flat body made of basswood. It`s flat and features no decorations, other than gloss finish. Bridge on this model is a double locking tremolo. It is highly acclaimed Ibanez Edge system. Dual humbuckers and a single coil pickup drive the tone of this model. Neck is made of maple and it`s equipped with wizard contour in the back. It`s topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
