Its models are designed to sport a mix of exclusive Prestige and budget-friendly Standard features, as well as to remain on the affordable side. Six, seven, eight, and even nine-string models can be found within the series` lineup. RG721MSM is a seven-stringed axe with hardtail construction, passive electronics, super-fast neck, and versatile, easily morphable tone. Currently, the only available color option is Natural Flat (satin finish, white binding, natural back). Highlights include an American basswood body, (w/spalted maple top), maple/walnut neck (5-piece neck, Wizard contour, recessed bolt-on joint), a 24-fret birdseye maple fingerboard (black offset dot inlays, 1.89" nut, 25.5" scale), a Tight-End bridge, CAP humbuckers, and die-cast tuners.
