As Ibanez official site states, the mighty RGA series has been developed to meet the needs of the most extreme metalheads out there. Visually, it combines the classic RG base, RG minimalist approach to the design and styling, and carved tops of the S series. Thus far, a small number of models have been deemed heavy enough to take on the RGA badge. Among the five RGs introduced at 2016 NAMM, RGA32 and RGA732 have been initiated into the RGA series roster. RGA732 is a seven-stringed guitar with passive Ibanez electronics, bolt-on construction and standard 25-1/2" scale.
RGA732 has a solid and double-cut body made of mahogany base and carved mahogany top. Three-piece maple neck with Wizard II-7 profile is attached through a standard four-bolt joint. 24-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood and it has a modern features set (1.89" nut, 16.90" radius and jumbo frets).
RGA732 comes with extended-range versions of the catalog-wide standard Quantum pickups. Modern/classic Ibanez tone with pretty high marks all around the chart is what sets these versatile humbuckers apart form competition. RGA732 also has a fixed seven-saddled bridge and a set of die-cast tuning machines.
