RGA8420 is one of two recently introduced j. Custom series models (the other being RG8527Z). Like every other j. Custom before it, RGA8420 is hand-made in Japan, in Ibanez`s main production facilities and then shipped around the world. Main features include a modern RGA body (traditional RG meets S series sculpted top), bolt-on neck construction (recessed four-bolt joint), passive electronics, standard 25-1/2" scale, and combined Ibanez/Gotoh hardware. Sodalite Flat and Black Rutile Flat options comprise the color palette. Ibanez`s official site offers no info on pricing for this model. Other notable features include African mahogany body base, AAA flame maple top (flame maple binding), 5-piece maple/walnut neck (j.
