Ibanez Iron Label was created for one thing and one thing only - metal. Doesn`t matter if it`s thrash, death, metalcore, power, doom, black speed, name it and Iron Label`s got you covered. RGIR, ARZIR, RGIT and many more sub-series specialize in certain designs or characteristics - some feature single-cut guitars, other are concentrated on shredding and sped, some focus on drop tuned models, while the others offer baritone guitars. List of 2016 updates includes five Iron Label models and RGIT27FE is one of them. Black-clad axe comes with a standard 25-1/2" scale, active pickups and a super-fast neck. RGIT27FE is a solid-bodied metal machine with neck-through construction and famous RG body. It is construction of ash wings and a seven-piece maple/walnut neck running through the middle. The neck is topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard (1.89" nut, 15.75" radius). Electronics are active on this Iron Label killer, including a set of EMG`s notorious 707 humbuckers and a simple controls unit (3-way blade switch, killswitch and master volume knob). Gibraltar Standard II bridge with string-through construction and Gotoh tuners complete the specs list.
